The Centers for Disease Control has advised people to take precautions in light of the COVID-19 virus outbreak and noted that the best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. Therefore, in addition to the order of Chief Judge Sippel entered on Friday, March 13, 2020, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri has given counsel the ability to appear for hearings telephonically until further notice. Participation by telephone waives any right to appear in person.
Counsel wanting to appear telephonically shall contact the Courtroom Deputy assigned to the Judge presiding over the hearing via email in order to inform Chambers of their telephonic appearance. Call information for each hearing will be posted to this page and will be updated periodically for security purposes. Please check back for the most up to date call information.
