CM/ECF Login/Password Information

A login and password are required to file and receive electronic notice or view documents through the CM/ECF System. Each registered participant is entitled to one CM/ECF login and password. To obtain a login and password, you must complete CM/ECF training and/or qualifying exercises and submit a completed CM/ECF Registration Form.

If an attorney already has a CM/ECF login and password from another Court, they DO NOT need to attend our training class nor perform any CM/ECF exercises. All they need to do is complete an Attorney Registration Form, found below. They must print the form, complete it manually, and mail to the address listed below. If they are truly in an emergency situation, they can fax the form to Beth Pfister at (314) 244-4990, but they must also mail the original form for the Court's records.

If a non-attorney needs limited user access to CM/ECF (to file Proofs of Claim, etc.), they must complete a Non-Attorney Participant Registration Form for Limited Filing, found below. They must print the form, complete it manually, and mail to the address listed below. If they are truly in an emergency situation, they can fax the form to Beth Pfister at (314) 244-4990, but they must also mail the original for the Court's file.

If an attorney needs a login and password and is not filing electronically in any other Court, they should attend one of our training classes. They can register by speaking to or e-mailing Beth Pfister.

It usually takes 2 - 3 days for issuance of a login and password after receipt of the registration form. A letter is mailed by U.S. Postal Mail containing the login and password. The information is not e-mailed to the applicant. In a true emergency situation, the login and password may be faxed to the applicant.
