You must be admitted to practice in the Bankruptcy Court to receive a CM/ECF login and password to file documents. The Court's form pro hac vice motion is Local Form 7 and can be found in the Forms section of the Court's web site under any of the Chapters. The motion must be filed in the Bankruptcy Court. It must be accompanied by a check made payable to "Clerk, U.S. District Court" in the amount of $100.00.
If you are a Personal Financial Management Course Provider, DO NOT apply for a login and password through this website. Contact the Court by calling (314) 244-4500.
A login and password are required to file and receive electronic notice through the CM/ECF System. Each registered participant is entitled to one CM/ECF login and password. To obtain a login and password, you must complete CM/ECF training and/or qualifying exercises and request a login and password here.
If an attorney is admitted to practice in the Eastern District and already has a CM/ECF login and password from another Court, the attorney DOES NOT need to attend our training class nor perform any CM/ECF exercises. All the attorney needs to do is click here to request an Attorney login and password.
If a non-attorney who is NOT a Personal Financial Management Course Provider, or an attorney who is not admitted in the Eastern District, needs limited user access to CM/ECF (to file Proofs of Claim, Requests for Notice, etc.), he or she must click here to request a Limited Filer login and password.
If an attorney needs a login and password and is not filing electronically in any other Court, they should attend one of our training classes. Click here to view the training calendar.
A CM/ECF on-line tutorial is available here.
